Short version: your steps stay on your device.

Your step log

Logged days, your daily goal, height, weight, age and any saved plan are stored in your browser's localStorage under keys starting with wg.. They never leave your device unless you export a CSV yourself. There are no accounts and no server database. Clearing your browser data, or the button below, deletes them.

The AI coach (optional)

If you press "Read my log" or "Ask the coach", the text you typed and, for log reads, a numbers-only summary of your last 28 days (steps per day, goal and streak) are sent to our server and passed to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to produce the answer. We don't store the request or the answer. Don't include your name or other personal details in questions.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and doesn't collect personal data or track you across sites.

The calculators give general estimates from published research and formulas. They are not medical advice.
